The 125-micron VCL Membrane is designed to minimise the risk of interstitial condensation within a building's structure. Acting as an effective vapour barrier, it restricts the movement of warm, moist air, significantly reducing the chances of damp and rot developing within walls, roofs, or other structural elements.

Similar to a vapour barrier, a vapour check (also known as a vapour control layer) is employed to mitigate the risk of interstitial condensation within a structure. However, it differs in that it is designed to slow down the airflow without completely stopping it.
